NOAA Radar Pro: Weather Alerts App Reviews

I think I will like better after I have had it awhile. I only just downloaded it. It is very helpful and accurate. The alerts are also timely. It seems better, and easier to use than The Weather Channel.

Literally use this everyday to keep up with the forecast for my work commute etc... Accurate and nice graphics. Recommend highly!!

The app works pretty well. I would like it more if it would update more frequently and provide information about specific weather conditions such as snow, sleet and freezing rain or black ice, rather than precipitation. People who live in the south need to know this information as we are not acclimated to driving in these conditions.

This app is easy to use and provides the most accurate forcasts.

It states that the wind speed for my area is 5mph .. When AccuWeather is stating that the wind speeds are 20 with gusts of 23. The winds right now are absolutely RIDICULOUS and so I was curious and checked NOAA. And I was shocked to see that it is displaying inaccurate information. Otherwise the app is pretty good. Could be better. I wish you could separate the radar from the alerts. It would be easier to view the maps. Also noticed you dont even show wind advisories that other apps have. Also think the warnings should be flashing.

This app is great to have for an everyday weather check. Sometimes the long range is off but if you keep checking its very helpful.

I plan my day by this app.

This app has good accuracy for weather (so a good 2-3 days out) but it’s great for a few hours. The only real knock I have on it is that it does not have a live radar mode so you can judge for yourself what is happening (or on the way) in your specific area (which is too bad since the satellite feature is so good). But for free, you can’t do much better than this app. CW

Awesome app!! I use it all the time wherever I go. Having accurate info has saved us from issues.

Since weather forecasting is a lost art, I rely on this app to set the radar in motion and make my own predictions!

The “upgrades” done a few months ago made this great app much less useful. As an angler, I rely on accuracy to avoid dangerous storms. The app no longer shows storm movement well and requires many reboots. Wish it was just as it was....
