NOAA Radar Pro: Weather Alerts App Reviews

This app is one of the few apps I regularly use. It is consistent, always reliable and the alerts are a big help if I’m traveling.

Its a very handy app allowing me to make certain decisions before I leave my house. Its almost as accurate as the local weather man

Great I use it everyday great.

being able to observe the size of the rain snow etc cell lets me know appx how long its gonna last and the color variations alerts me to severity - it works for me

Generally very accurate. However in the last few months there have been a few times when current conditions (temperature,rain) have been off even when I have hit update. (Temperature by over 10 degrees; showing dry when it is raining.) I dont know what is going on with that as I never had trouble in past years. I do like the ability to use the worldwide map and the alerts are very helpful here in tornado alley.

Percentage of precipitation is always 0. I think a paid app should include this

Shows local map overplayed with precipitation (rain, snow, ice) in 15 min intervals over the last hour. Zoom out to see regional scale and movement of storm. Excellent map graphics.

Driving north we had 2 possible routes to take. This app allowed me to choose the better one and gave us information on where the potential for poor driving conditions. Thanks! PS we are also boaters and use this app daily when on the water!

The app has been working fine for the past few days. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than desired to refresh, but otherwise its your standard radar app.

I use this app to review weather conditions around the world wherever I travel. It helps me understand why a plane was delayed for 5.5 hours. When my flight was canceled and no weather delays were announced. Thank you NOAA!

I live in Westlake village CA 91362. Indicated figures are generally okay but often very much off the true ones. I know it is not a microclimate website ( mine is pro version) but even the wind speeds are off the mark. Today, for example, it says 50 F and 3 mph wind speed but actually it is not less than 65 F and 30-35 mph at 10 am.

Shows rain& snow well but not temperature at same time.
